The cleaning of the laundry room ducts will start on Monday, May 2nd through Wednesday May 4th. 2 Hats, Chimneys and Ducts will then begin the personal dryer duct cleaning on Thursday May 5th for those who have scheduled with the company. For you convenience you can call and schedule your dryer duct cleaning with the company at 410.707.6560.
NOTE FROM THE DOCKMASTER
Neighbors, We have recently had two dock box lids and two electric shore power lids break off. While there are different reasons for each occurrence, the purpose of this message is the same. It is the responsible of the slip owner to fix each problem. Electrical lids cost apex $85, and dock box replacements are appx $1,000. I will help coordinate, but ultimately the slip owner bears the cost . Please latch the dock box lids securely.
EV CHARGER AD-HOC COMMITTEE
Is there an electric car in your future? If so the EV Ad-Hoc committee wants to help you by installing charger stations at Severn House. The Committee has done a lot of research for almost two years and is now briefing your BOD, one-on-one to answer questions. In addition, the City of Annapolis has a project called “Kick Gas! In Annapolis” about electric vehicles. The Ad-Hoc committee is considering asking the BOD to vote on at the May 10th meeting. POWERWASHING AT SEVERN HOUSE
With regards to the damage that was caused by the previous power washing, those repairs will be done during next week and the stain will be a solid stain after the repairs are done.
The next buildings scheduled for power washing are buildings 2 and 3 that will be done next week as well. Please remove the items from your deck to protect from damage.
DECK POST REPLACEMENT
As many of you are noticing, the utility closet doors are shifting out of place due to the deck post replacements. If you are experiencing a shift, please send a request for adjustment in the resident portal as a work order. We will schedule contractors for repair according to the order the work orders are received.
Reminder that on May 6th, a dumpster will be placed in the community as a way to assist with your spring cleaning, spring renewals, etc. The dumpster will be in the community from May 6 – May 16th to give everyone an opportunity and plenty of time to utilize the dumpster. Please make a note on your calendar.
Reminder that the rescheduled Board/Annual Meeting is Tuesday, May 10th. Please make a note to attend.
